Robotic CNC Operator Location:
Philadelphia, PA Pay:
$32.00/hour + $150/day Per Diem (per workday)
Job Type:
Full-Time We are seeking experienced Robotic CNC Operators to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating and programming robotic automated manufacturing systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Shipbuilding experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Review setup sheets, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machine setup and production requirements. Set up, operate, and monitor robotic automated manufacturing equipment. Position, align, and secure materials according to work instructions and specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering requirements. Troubleshoot robotic equipment and adjust machine control parameters when programming or operational issues occur. Perform routine machine inspections and report equipment discrepancies or malfunctions. Maintain production logs and required documentation. Monitor consumable inventory and notify supervisors of replenishment needs. Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Work closely with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or programming robotic automated manufacturing systems . Experience with CNC robotic equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Basic knowledge of automated production systems, robotics, and machine programming. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. Basic understanding of welding processes and robotic welding systems is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and best practices. Ability to work independently while following established procedures and quality standards. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality. Shipbuilding or heavy industrial manufacturing experience is a plus.
