We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and machining centers to manufacture high-quality components while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will have machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement. In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC machine tools, including lathes and machining centers.

Perform rough and finish machining operations on ferrous, non-ferrous, and alloy metal components.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, setup sheets, tooling instructions, and process documentation.

Utilize precision measuring equipment to verify product quality and conformance to specifications.

Perform first-run trials and make machine adjustments as needed.

Enter and edit offsets and program corrections at machine control consoles.

Inspect parts throughout production runs and make adjustments to compensate for tool wear.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes, cycle times, tooling, and overall operational efficiency.

Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Who are you?

Required High school diploma or GED.

Technical or vocational training in machining or a related field.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.

Ability to use overhead cranes and jib-boom hoists.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Preferred Experience operating 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of CNC programming concepts and machine setup optimization What We Look For A safety-focused individual who consistently follows established procedures.

Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements while operating welding and fabrication equipment.

Frequent use of hands and fingers to grasp, handle, manipulate, and operate tools, controls, and welding equipment.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, parts, and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds independently and heavier weights with assistance or mechanical lifting devices.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl, and reach above shoulder level on a frequent basis.

Ability to work in confined spaces and various body positions, including overhead, horizontal, and vertical welding positions.

Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work platforms as required.

Sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses, to read blueprints, work instructions, measuring devices, and inspect weld quality.

Ability to distinguish colors, shapes, and dimensions as necessary for welding, fabrication, inspection, and safety purposes.

Ability to hear and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to wear and work in required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmets, face shields, respirators (where required), safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, and protective clothing.

Ability to work safely in environments exposed to heat, sparks, fumes, dust, noise, vibration, and varying temperatures. Physical Demand Summary

For this position, the base pay is set at $30.34 - $38.54/hour, and where applicable, bonus eligible.
