Job Description

ISO-13485 / ISO-9100

registered medical device manufacturer. For nearly 20 years First Article, Inc. has been a full service contract manufacturer specializing in the production of high quality, complex machined component parts and assemblies. Candidates should have the following qualifications: Ability to run and produce a quality part on a CNC Machine with minimal supervision which meets and complies with all quality standards defined in the accompanying documentation. Perform all tasks in accordance with blueprints, specifications, in-process inspection checks, other specified documents and/or verbal instructions in conformance with Company standards including budget, safety, workmanship and good housekeeping practices. Mills - Ability to setup/run 3, 4 or 5 Axis Machining Center with minimal supervision, including knowledge of work holdings, tooling, and basic g-code. Swiss -

• Ability to effectively and efficiently setup, run and produce a quality part on any Swiss Type Machine you are assigned to with minimal supervision. Prepare assigned Swiss for set-up, operation, stage tools and change feeds and speeds if necessary. Communicate with engineering, supervisory personnel, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information. Ability to efficiently operate multiple machines when needed. Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Ability to ask and/or understand a complete variety of inspection tasks, including visual inspections, using all necessary measuring devices such as height gages, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, etc., and completing all quality documentation and inspection data sheets. Ability to perform basic math functions including geometry and trigonometry at times. Candidate must be a motivated type of person, a trend setter and be willing to work through obstacles associated with job runs thru understanding, learning and examples. 3+ years' machining experience preferred.

HOURS:
DAY SHIFT

7am-5:30pm Mon-Thurs (off Fri, Sat, Sun)

NIGHT SHIFT

4:30pm - 3:00am Mon-Thurs (off Fri, Sat, Sun) Salary may vary from posted minimum depending on the position and experience.
