The EF Precision Group is here for the duration and will continue to create, innovate, and redefine manufacturing. ​ SUMMARY The CNC Milling Team Leader position requiring seven years in a production CNC lathe machining environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine operations. The incumbent will perform a wide variety of duties in a production CNC machining environment including machine set ups, for self and others, and machine operations. Incumbent confirms materials and processes are current and correct for jobs. Incumbent acts a communication channel between production personnel and management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform machine set ups for self and for others. Review all paperwork and processes for current revision level for all jobs. Confirm correct material to be used for each job. Assist, train, and Mentor CNC operators in the performance of their duties. Report all maintenance issues to supervisor and resolve if possible. Enable effective communication between management and operators. Work with supervisor in preparing daily work schedules. Help maintain a clean and healthy work environment. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years experience in production CNC machining operations. Meet requirements of CNC Machining Center Operator III. Proven leadership, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to make effective decisions in an expedient manner. CNC Programming experience a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may require evening and weekend work.
