•TRUMPF Level 1 to join our night-shift manufacturing team in Lennox, SD. In this role, you'll operate
TRUMPF CNC
equipment used to cut, punch, and form steel components. You'll work from blueprints and production orders, monitor machine performance, inspect finished parts, and help ensure our products meet quality and production standards. This position works Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM and receives an additional $2.00/hour night-shift differential. Candidates must be available to complete required training on day shift before transitioning to the regular night-shift schedule. What You'll Do Operate TRUMPF laser or punch press equipment to produce steel parts to required specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and setup sheets. Load and unload materials safely using a forklift. Enter, adjust, or recall CNC programs as directed. Monitor machine operation and part quality throughout production. Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools. Identify and report quality concerns, nonconforming materials, or equipment issues. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities. Qualifications What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of CNC or laser cutting experience preferred. Experience with TRUMPF, Amada, or similar CNC laser/punch press equipment is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Basic computer skills and comfort working with machine interfaces or production software. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Willingness to complete company-provided training on TRUMPF operation, programming, and safety. Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is an active manufacturing position requiring frequent standing and walking, material handling, repetitive motions, and occasional lifting. The position works around manufacturing equipment where noise, heat, and metal dust may be present. Night Shift Advantage:
In addition to your regular hourly rate, you'll earn an extra $2.00 per hour for working night shift.
