We're currently seeking a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator I to join our growing team of manufacturing professionals in Memphis, Tennessee . This position will directly assist all processes associated with CNC machining within the facility and serve as a vital part of the production for specialty trackwork. This role will support our 1st shift, which operates from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sets up and runs all CNC milling machines, adjusting offset as needed Maintains a neat and organized work area Assembles milling cutters onto holders and index inserts Loads and unloads parts on machine with crane Ensures products conform to order specifications and quality requirements Assists support personnel with program, tooling, and/or machine issues as needed Completes required quality documentation Maintains a positive and helpful attitude to other team members in the shop
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, etc.) Adequate machining and tooling knowledge - feed, speeds, and chip load Ability to read and understand production drawings Ability to work extra hours (overtime) if needed Ability to handle and read measuring devices Ability to work on-site in
