Your responsibilities

• Machine tending: safely load and unload parts from the CNC machine, ensuring the machining area is clear and ready for the next cycle
• In-process inspection: perform continuous quality checks on finished parts using calipers and micrometers, immediately alerting the lead machinist to any parts out of tolerance
• Deburring and finishing: use hand tools to deburr, clean, and prepare machined components for the next step in the fabrication process
• Program support: assist senior CNC operators with simple tasks like touching off tools and making basic offset adjustments
• Maintenance support: maintain a clean work cell, including managing chips, coolant levels, and general machine cleanliness.
