Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to strict quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications. Program CNC equipment utilizing CAM programming software and adjust parameters for optimal performance. Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Operate auxiliary machinery including press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication tools as needed. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to materials handling, tooling, welding, and assembly line procedures. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members on materials handling, packaging, assembly, and fabrication tasks within the manufacturing facility. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to support assembly or fabrication processes when required. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience working with CNC machinery or machining operations. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other CNC programming languages is highly desirable. Experience operating forklift trucks for materials handling within a warehouse or production environment. Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks for interpreting designs and creating tooling setups. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and precision measurement instruments like micrometers and calipers. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings. Understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations. Ability to work safely with hand tools, welding equipment, stamping presses, and other fabrication machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
