Burn Table / CNC Router Table Operator 2nd Shift Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc

What You'll Do:
Role:
You will be responsible for loading and unloading parts onto the burn table, adjusting the table settings, loading and unloading the cutting torch, and monitoring the cutting process.Production Task Execution :
Follow process sheets, blueprints, or verbal instructions from the supervisor to complete production tasks accurately.Material Handling :
Maneuver large or heavy parts manually or with the assistance of a crane or forklift as required.Inspection & Finishing :
Inspect cuts throughout the process for quality, using grinding tools as necessary to achieve desired finishes.Machine & Workspace Maintenance :
Keep machines and work areas clean and adhere to safety protocols.Quality Control :
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.Cross-Functional Support :
Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.What You'll Bring:
Burn Table Experience :
Prior experience using burn table to cut materials ¾" to 8-1/2" in within a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical schooling is required.Additional Welding Skills :
Experience with welding is a plus.Tool Proficiency :
Familiarity with grinding tools, drill presses, and ironwork is advantageous.Communication & Documentation :
Basic oral communication skills; ability to read and understand written instructions in English and complete basic logs and reports in English.Physical Capability :
Physically able to lift, push, pull, and position heavy components as required.Attendance & Compliance :
Ability to work scheduled hours and adhere to company timekeeping and all other policies.Shift Endurance :
Ability to consistently stand for the entire duration of the shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.Mechanical Knowledge :
General mechanical knowledge is beneficial.Team Orientation :
Able to work cooperatively with others and contribute as a team player. Attention toDetail :
Demonstrates accuracy and reliability in all tasks.Your Schedule:
2nd Shift- Monday
- Friday 3:00 PM
- 11:00 PM To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report to work daily to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
