Now Hiring:
CNC Machine Operator Our client is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Operator to safely and accurately program and operate computer numerically controlled machinery. In this role, you will play a key part in producing high-quality parts, maximizing machine efficiency, and ensuring precision manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, program, and operate CNC machinery for drilling, grinding, milling, and fabrication. Translate blueprints and mechanical drawings into precise machine commands and set up test runs. Load raw materials, supervise full-cycle production runs, and adjust controls as needed. Inspect finished parts using precision tools to verify output meets strict specifications. Multitask efficiently by operating and coordinating two machines simultaneously. Perform daily machine maintenance and checks to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (engineering or technical certificate is a plus). 2+ years of manufacturing and machine operator experience. Skilled in operating CNC machinery, CAD/CAM basics, SPC tools, and precision measuring devices. Mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and solid math abilities. High SchoolResponsibilitiesPrepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality Ability to multitask and operate two machines at one time, coordinate their operations for maximum efficiency.
