CNC Operator

Job Summary The CNC Operator sets up and operates Okuma CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts that meet blueprint, quality, and production requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid machining fundamentals, and a safety-first mindset. Responsibilities Operate and monitor CNC lathes and CNC milling machines to produce parts within specified tolerances. Load CNC programs, set tool offsets, and make minor adjustments as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Monitor machine performance and adjust processes to maintain quality standards. Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety policies and report issues to supervision. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 1+ years of experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC mills preferred. Ability to read blueprints and use basic precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
