Shop Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Water Jet Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining your machine to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Program CNC machines using G-code or other programming languages
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform quality inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
  • Assemble components as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in programming CNC machines
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
  • Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
