In this role as CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our CNC machine to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine operation, and blueprint reading will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. CNC Operator Responsibilities Setup and operate a nested based CNC router, specifically the Homag N-300 Work alongside the General Manager to review production packages/blueprints and prioritize the production process to achieve quality, productivity, and on-time standards. Program CNC machines using CAM systems such as Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting industrial equipment issues, and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality output. Follow safety standards in production environments while handling tooling, materials, and machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Adhere to safety practices and ensure proper use of all tools and machinery. From time-to-time, this position offers flexibility to also work on the production line to operate other machinery such as table saws, drill press, edge banders, sanders and other wood working equipment. Can also participate in production and carpentry or we offer training in these roles for growth and development Qualifications Minimum 2 years of nested based CNC experience

•preferably with a Homag brand in a cabinetry or millwork shop. Familiarity with CAM programming software and the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for tooling design and setup. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and precision measurement techniques. Experience working with industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory safety standards. Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments confidently. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery You must have strong communication skills and be willing to work with others in a team environment.
