How You'll Make an Impact Perform necessary setup and fixturing for CNC machining operations. Review and execute NC programs in accordance with production documents. Execute process validation. Support equipment and machinery maintenance activities. Adhere to all documentation including travelers, build manuals, red books, work instructions, quality procedures, inspection sheets, setup sheets and drawings as applicable to the work being performed. Examine and analyze blueprints, sketches, and computer-related files. Set up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools. Perform in-process validation. Produce products to specifications. Operate various machinery. Demonstrate safe work habits and utilize appropriate PPE when required. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of CNC experience, or certificate of vocational CNC operator education. Critical-thinking and decision-making skills. Experience working within a manufacturing environment. Written and verbal communication skills. The ability to perform mathematical calculations. Able to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team. Ability to understand and communicate in spoken and written English sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and quality documentation. Highly detailed. Good Mechanical and technical aptitude. Manual Dexterity with good hand-eye coordination. Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth mics, and height gauges. Able to read blueprints and drawings. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime. Ability to use production tools such as: power drills, pneumatic sanders, surface grinders, angle grinders, pencil grinders, and basic hand tools. Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Work Environment This position will be performed in an environmentally controlled facility. This position will be subjected to elevated noise, dust, or fumes. Appropriate hearing and respirator protection will be provided if deemed necessary. This position will work first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Physical Requirements Full shift standing, walking, bending, and sitting may occur, as well as lifting no more than 50lbs. Areas utilizing resins, solvents, and dust will require the use of appropriate respiratory protection.
Pay:
$21.00 - $31.00 per hour
