The ideal candidate will have experience operating Amada Vipros CNC punch press equipment and working with sheet metal in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements:
Set up and operate Amada CNC punch press equipment Striker and AutoCAD software experience preferred Load and unload sheet metal materials safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance Monitor production and maintain efficient workflow Maintain a clean and safe work area Work with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
Qualifications:
Previous CNC punch press and sheet metal fabrication experience required Ability to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings Knowledge of measuring tools, including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Experience with CNC controls and basic machine setup including maintaining tooling Ability to lift and handle sheet metal materials Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
