Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator and become a vital contributor to precision metalworking excellence! In this role, you will operate and set up CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge will ensure that each part meets strict quality standards. We are looking for energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about manufacturing precision. Duties Set up CNC machining equipment, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements. Conduct quality inspections using proper inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, drop indicators and other instruments to verify dimensions. Perform manual machining tasks when necessary to support CNC operations or make fine adjustments. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles and safety standards. Perform routine maintenance to machines and equipment as needed. Skills Proven experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, and manual machining techniques. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators for quality control. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, and machine setup adjustments. Knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure precise measurement and quality assurance of machined parts. Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment. Strong attention to detail combined with mechanical knowledge to produce consistent high-quality components. Understanding of 5-axis CNC equipment a plus.
