POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for forming sheet metal parts according to work orders, drawings, quality and production schedules.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Review work order and print requirements to determine forming specifications.
• Operate Brake Press to ensure conformance with print specifications.
• Ensure proper materials accompany work orders and run production according to print specifications.
• Work under strict deadlines to ensure that all parts are completed before the end of shift.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED; two to five years related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferably related to sheet metal and machining.

CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Requires reading, writing and basic to intermediate math skills.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Able to work under tight production deadlines.
• Ability to read and effectively use basic tools such as calipers and micrometers.
