Machine Fabrication Technician Location:
Roanoke, TX Shift:
1st Shift / 6:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Thurs (4/10
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $22.00hr Summit Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturing company in Roanoke, TX! We are seeking a dependable Machine Fabrication Technician to join a precision metal fabrication team. This position is responsible for producing quality metal components, operating fabrication equipment, and supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC laser equipment and other fabrication machinery to produce precision metal components. Load and unload raw materials onto production equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions. Perform quality inspections using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools. Verify finished parts meet customer specifications and quality standards. Perform basic machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine maintenance. Complete production paperwork and document quality inspections accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures to meet daily goals. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience in CNC machining, laser operation, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred. Experience operating CNC, punch press, brake press, or similar fabrication equipment is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, and decimals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. Manufacturing experience with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum fabrication preferred. Preferred Skills CNC Laser experience (Trumpf or similar equipment) Metal fabrication experience Blueprint reading Quality inspection Machine setup and troubleshooting ERP or manufacturing software experience Lean manufacturing knowledge
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
