Schedule:
Shift work is 6:15am to 6:30pm & 6:15pm to 6:30am (days, evenings, or weekends) may be required overtime depending on production needs. Position Summary We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC and conventional machining equipment, producing high-quality precision parts, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, including milling, drilling, grinding, VMCs, HMCs, and turning centers. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and CNC programs. Perform machine setups, tool changes, and routine adjustments to ensure quality and productivity. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments and maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot machining and production issues as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, SPC, TPM, and 5S. Maintain quality documentation and comply with company policies, safety procedures, and
ISO/IATF
quality standards. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree or CNC certificate preferred, or 1-3 years of CNC machining experience. Experience operating CNC and conventional machining equipment. Knowledge of GD&T, tooling, fixtures, precision measuring instruments, and Mastercam preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions. Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements 1. Ability to stand and walk the entire workday, tolerate the heat, air quality and general work conditions of a manufacturing environment. 2. Must be capable of frequent bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, climbing and balancing constantly. 3. Ability to frequently lift 10 to 50 lbs. 4.
