In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) saw machines to cut and shape materials with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are upheld, and quality specifications are met consistently. Duties Set up and operate CNC saw machines, ensuring proper calibration and alignment for each job Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to determine cutting specifications Program CNC saw equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and Fanuc controls to optimize cutting processes Measure materials and finished parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and other industrial equipment Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks, assembly line processes, and materials handling to meet production deadlines Conduct quality control checks by inspecting parts against blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and measurement data for quality assurance purposes Skills Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM programming for precise machine operation Experience with Fanuc control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and technical drawing analysis Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments Familiarity with shop math, factory experience, manufacturing processes, and materials handling techniques Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently and perform basic repairs or adjustments Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure a safe working space at all times Experience operating various fabrication tools including press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and flexo presses Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, machine operation, assembly lines, and packaging processes Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Join our team as a CNC Saw Operator if you're passionate about precision machining and eager to contribute your technical expertise in a thriving manufacturing environment.
