Temp CNC Machine Operator- Night Shift We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our night shift production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery to produce quality parts while following safety and quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate assigned CNC machinery using pre-programmed software, including grinders, lathes, mills, and routers
- Machine materials such as metal and plastic by cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping per specifications
- Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine and minor maintenance
- Submit work orders for required maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, engineering change orders, and job orders
- Follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures; report problems to supervisor or lead
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area
- Follow all prescribed safety procedures
- Assist in other work areas as directed by the department supervisor Qualifications
- Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
