CNC Plasma Table Operator / Fabricator - Union Position Tennille Inc. | Texas City, TX Full-Time | Day Shift | In-Person Up to approximately $25-$30/hour + Union Benefits We are seeking a skilled Plasma Table Operator who can bridge the gap between design and production. You will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings in AutoCAD, programming the plasma cutter, and handling physical material loading and operation.

Key Responsibilities Drafting:

Create and modify 2D fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.

Programming:

Convert CAD files into CNC nesting software and generate G-code.

Operation:

Set up, calibrate, and operate the CNC plasma cutting table.

Material Handling:

Safely load raw metal sheets onto the table and unload finished parts.

Quality Control:

Inspect cut parts against blueprints using calipers and tape measures.

Maintenance:

Perform basic daily maintenance and cleaning of the plasma table. Qualifications & Skills Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Tape measure proficiency:

Ability to accurately read measurements down to 1/16".

Technical:

Proven experience drawing and drafting in AutoCAD (Required).

Experience:

Minimum 1 to 2 years operating a CNC plasma table or similar CNC machinery.

Physical:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Equipment:

Experience operating a forklift or overhead crane to load heavy materials is a plus.

Detail-Oriented:

Ability to read blueprints and understand weld/fabrication symbols.

Benefits & Pay Pay Range:

($25.00) - ($30.00) per hour (Depending on experience)
