Programming the CNC using CAD/CAM software. Ability to import and edit DXF, DWG, and NC1 files comfortably within the Radan software. Load and unload raw materials safely and efficiently. Perform regular maintenance including daily cleaning, lubrication, and calibration. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project activities (project lists, task list, deadlines) Work in tandem with the foreman and project manager to help drive project success. Select and install cutting consumables, adjust machine settings, and monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet the required specifications Unloaded parts need to be kept tidy on pallets or in buckets and organized appropriately.
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrate competence in the use of tape measures, and calipers. Be competent with computers and have the ability to navigate files. Read and interpret fabrication and part drawings. Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills. Ability to lift and move at least 50+ pounds and be on your feet most of the day (8-10+ hour shifts) Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a team and be cross trained (If necessary). Proficiency with learning modern CAD/CAM software. Proficiency in nesting for CNC laser machines. Effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
