CNC Operator

Job Description:

Beacon CDL is a leading supplier and installer of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, proudly serving the Salt Lake City area since 1966. The company is expanding, and we are seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented, and dependable CNC Operator to join our team. The CNC Operator will be responsible for programming and operating machinery to cut, drill, and machine phenolic locker components and bathroom partitions with precision and efficiency. This role requires experience in CNC manufacturing processes and familiarity with industry-specific software and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operate machines to produce phenolic locker and bathroom partition parts according to specifications Read and interpret instructions, cut lists, and work orders Set up, adjust, and maintain equipment for optimal performance Load materials and ensure proper machine operation throughout production Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of finished parts Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines Maintain a clean and safe work environment Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience operating CNC machines in a cabinet or woodworking environment Familiarity with Mozaik software and programming Experience using a beam saw, boring machine, and other common millwork equipment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move materials (up to 100 lbs) Standing for extended periods Working in a manufacturing/shop environment Additional Information Full-Time (40 hours a week) Regular business hours:

Monday-Thursday:

7:00 AM•5:00

PM Friday:

8:00 AM•12:00 PM Starting pay: $22•30/hour , depending on experience
