Job Description

CNC Operator, CNC Machinist Charlottesville, VA 22911 On-site Join a skilled Machine Shop team and build precision parts used in medical devices.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate CNC machines and produce precision parts Read blueprints and follow work instructions Load materials and CNC programs Start up machines and make minor adjustments Use micrometers and calipers to inspect parts Perform deburring, polishing, and metal finishing Check parts for quality, appearance, and accuracy Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized Work with a small, hands-on team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't have to be an expert. We're looking for someone with: Some CNC machining experience or training Blueprint reading skills Micrometer and caliper experience Basic CNC machine operation experience Mechanical aptitude A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Medical-device experience is NOT required. CNC programming is NOT required. Manual machining experience is welcome if you're ready to learn
