CNC/Material Prep Operator Location:
325 Arbor Court, Winchester, VA 22602
Work Hours:

This is an exciting opportunity to learn the CNC function and grow with a great company—we will train the right person! From operating advanced machinery to handling final product assembly, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality fire safety equipment and assembling industrial fire hoses.

What You'll Do:
Assist in loading raw materials, operating CNC machinery under close supervision, and monitoring the automated production of specialized parts for fire equipment. Monitor the machine while it runs, unload the finished part, and repeat the process and maintain a steady production pace and high volume. Load castings on robot tables and ensure it loads properly. Cut, couple, and assemble heavy-duty fire hoses according to precise engineering, quality, and safety guidelines. Rotate through various departments of the manufacturing plant to assist wherever needed—including material handling, shipping and receiving, and general shop support. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Complete basic daily maintenance on machines Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training
What We Are Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn Previous CNC experience a plus! (we are willing to train the right candidate!) Skilled or willing to learn the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) General computer proficiency High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
