Punch Press Operator (FULL-TIME/REG)
Job Description:
Punch Press Operator Along with running a punch press, the operator will be responsible for loading programs, changing tooling, setting up for new jobs, as well as keeping up on general machine maintenance. The position requires experience with a punch press and familiarity with sheet-metal manufacturing processes. Basic math skills, experience with reading blueprints, and using standard measuring equipment are desired. Overtime is available and may be required depending on production needs. Typical Duties/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):  Punch press operations and maintenance  Maintain tooling; request replacement tooling when needed  Drive forklift  Learn customer's quality requirements  Checking parts leaving areas for quality requirements  Leave area clean for next shift Desired skills:  Read Blueprints  Able to use proper measurement tools to maintain quality  High attention to detail  Excellent organization skills  Quality communication with leadership  Efficient with supplies and time  Collaborative team player  Hard working and dedicated; willing to work through to completion  Good attendance and punctual  Able to cope with busy work schedules while distinguishing and balancing priorities  Able to work overtime including Saturdays when needed.
