Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our high-tech machining facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality of the machined parts, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with the production team to maintain a smooth workflow. Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols are also key aspects of this position.Shifts:

- Thursday) Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate two or more Miyano ABX or BNX machines that perform a series of machining operations such as turning, drilling, boring, threading & milling to specifications Prepare and load specified bar stock into bar loader Monitor machine operation & verify conformance of work piece to specifications using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM, OASIS, Keyence, & functional gauges) Consistently check parts per inspection instructions; ensure non-conforming parts are controlled per protocols Adjust part dimensions by making offsets, change inserts, properly center & touch off tools as needed Review and interpret details on process router, scheduling board, part drawings, and inspection instructions.

Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience working with Miyano or similar equipment A positive attitude with an exceptional aptitude for growing your skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong work ethic and reliability Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with a drive for results & a mindset for continuous improvement Ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects/tasks A collaborative mindset focused on teamwork Detail orientated with the ability to accurately follow work instructions Operational knowledge and ability to use inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, surface tester, indicators, pin & thread gauges, Oasis, Keyence & CMM measuring systems) Knowledge of basic mathematics (arithmetic & geometry) is required Good computer skills with the ability to demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in completing basic data entry within the ERP manufacturing system Ability to read blueprints Knowledge of basic metalworking theory (cutting, tooling, material properties, machine tools, cutting fluids & coolants) Vision corrected to 20/20Physical/Environmental Demands:
