CNC Lathe Operator- 2nd & 3rd Shift

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our high-tech machining facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality of the machined parts, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with the production team to maintain a smooth workflow. Routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols are also key aspects of this position.

• Thursday) Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate two or more Miyano ABX or BNX machines that perform a series of machining operations such as turning, drilling, boring, threading & milling to specifications Prepare and load specified bar stock into bar loader Monitor machine operation & verify conformance of work piece to specifications using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM, OASIS, Keyence, & functional gauges) Consistently check parts per inspection instructions; ensure non-conforming parts are controlled per protocols Adjust part dimensions by making offsets, change inserts, properly center & touch off tools as needed Review and interpret details on process router, scheduling board, part drawings, and inspection instructions.

Perform basic trouble-shooting of machine & bar feeder alarms Adhere to AS9100 quality standards per protocol Consistently clean & maintain machines & related equipment to ensure optimal conditions for success Examine processes & identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Requirements:
