If you enjoy working with technology, precision equipment, and seeing the direct results of your work, this could be the opportunity for you. 🛠️ Opportunity Snapshot Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor and department leadership, the CNC Operator 1 is responsible for operating CNC equipment to cut, process, and prepare materials used in the production of custom commercial fixtures and interiors. This role supports production schedules by ensuring materials are accurately cut, inspected, labeled, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer expectations. 💡 What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC equipment according to programmed specifications Cut wood, laminate, plastic, and solid surface materials for customer projects Inspect finished components to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications Make basic machine adjustments and offset changes to maintain quality standards Label, organize, and palletize completed parts for downstream production processes Accurately record material usage and complete production transactions Read and utilize tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring tools Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes Support team goals and production schedules through reliable attendance and performance ✅ What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous CNC, manufacturing, woodworking, machine operation, or related experience preferred Ability to read and use measuring devices including tape measures and micrometers Basic math skills and attention to detail Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn CNC equipment operation Ability to identify and work with a variety of production materials Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement Dependable attendance and positive work ethic 💪 Physical & Work Environment Expectations Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling Regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance Manufacturing environment with machinery, production equipment, and elevated noise levels Required use of safety glasses, hearing protection, safety footwear, and other PPE Requires visual attention to detail and precision measurement 💲 Pay & Benefits This role offers an hourly pay range of $18.00
