ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a woodworking environment in Green Bay. This role is a strong fit for someone with hands-on experience running a CNC moulder or other CNC equipment in a woodworking shop. This is a 1st shift, contract-to-direct opportunity for someone who can set up equipment, verify programming, run production parts, and work from blueprints and shop drawings. Candidates from woodworking environments are preferred, while CNC backgrounds from plastics or general job shops are not the right fit for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up equipment and machinery, verify programming, and run setup pieces. Check materials before release to ensure all items are accurately completed. Run production parts efficiently and accurately. Clean and maintain machinery as required. Take responsibility for the care and proper use of all equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience running a CNC moulder in a woodworking shop, or another CNC machine in a woodworking environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and a tape measure. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance. Familiarity with machine programming and tooling involved in machine operation. Basic math skills. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong communication skills. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
