Our capabilities at DJS are constantly expanding and currently include CNC machining , full metal fabrication (laser, brake, welding) , painting, i ntegrated assemblies and more . Our facility includes the latest in manufacturing technology and equipment .
JOB DESCRIPTION
1st shift: Monday through Thursday 6:00 am-2:30 pm - Overtime on Friday
ESSENTIAL DUT IES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures on CNC machining equipment. Setup and operate CNC machining equipment. Perform some machine alignment procedures and machine zero home procedures to keep equipment at peak operating performance. Able to troubleshoot machine problems. Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED required. Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids. Must be able to set up Mazak and Haas. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement. Excellent attendance and a positive, "can do" attitude.
THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED
Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment CNC programming experience.
