Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision components in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in CNC programming and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other industrial machinery to produce precision parts. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate fabrication of components. Program CNC machines using G-code, Fanuc controls, and CAM programming software to optimize machining processes. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to proper procedures for machine operation and materials handling. Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and quality control documentation throughout the manufacturing process. Operate auxiliary equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, or forklift trucks as needed for material handling or fabrication tasks. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and familiarity with Fanuc controls. Knowledge of CAM programming software for toolpath generation and optimization. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and fabrication processes. Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math skills. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow safety standards diligently. Familiarity with shop tools including hand tools for assembly or materials handling tasks. Basic understanding of materials used in manufacturing processes and quality control procedures. Warehouse experience or familiarity with factory operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
