CNC Set-up Machinist Programmer Pivot Cycles Tempe, AZ 85283 Posted about 1 hour New We are looking for an all-around CNC Set-up Machinist/Programmer for our prototyping department. The ideal candidate will need experience with CAD/CAM programming, set up, and machining parts for both mills and lathes. They should also have qualified skills with conventional manual equipment and experience in composites, fabrication, and welding are a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Producing machined parts by programming, setting up and operating CNC and conventional machines
  • General fabrication
  • Working with molds and processing of composites.
  • Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and keep to schedules
  • Assisting in product development and part verification
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years CNC machining experience
  • Degree in Manufacturing Technology or Manufacturing Engineering Technology is preferred
  • CAD/CAM programming
  • Understanding or experience with 3D machining
  • Working knowledge of
SOLIDWORKS
  • Fabricating and welding experience
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience with set up and operation of CNC lathes and mills
  • Prior experience with set up and operation of manual equipment
  • Willingness to learn new methods of manufacturing
  • Enjoy and participate in the cycling environment
