This role focuses on programming and optimizing complex components used in flight-critical engine hardware, where precision and quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning operations Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to produce high-precision components Select tooling, speeds, and feeds appropriate for complex materials and tight tolerances Collaborate with machinists and engineering teams to improve processes and efficiency Troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions to maintain quality and production timelines Support continuous improvement initiatives within a lean manufacturing environment Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
3+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision machining environment Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining preferred Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, NX, or similar Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Experience working with tight tolerances and complex geometries Background in aerospace, defense, or similar high-precision industries preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience machining high-performance materials such as titanium, Inconel, or stainless steel Familiarity with Fanuc or Haas controls Experience in production and/or prototype machining environments This is an opportunity to join a team that values precision, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting critical applications across aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
