You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathes to produce precision aerospace parts. Must have Mastercam experience in programing, and set up of multi axis lathes. Must understand offsets and tool touch offs. Additional programming experience in FeatureCam/ fusion 360 a big plus. Also if you have mill turn programing experience with 2 spindle, 2 turret lathes or Swiss machine experience please explain. Mazak mill experience helpful. We run high mix - low volume tight tolerance parts. normal run 50 to 5000 Opening in first shift 6-4:30 M-Th. and opening on second shift 3-11:30 M-F Responsibilities Programming multi axis mill in MasterCam. Set up CNC lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, and submit first articles. Must modify CNC programs to keep parts in tolerance and quality. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), Operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances throughout the manufacturing process. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and implement adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, as needed Must have reliable transportation to Anaheim. (57 and 91 frwy) Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC machinist with a strong background in setup and programming of CNC lathes. Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code; experience with Fanuc controls is highly preferred. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, mechanical knowledge, and basic math skills for precise measurements. Experience with MasterCam a must and Fusion 360 programming a plus Ability to operate precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMMs, and other inspection tools accurately. Knowledge of tooling setup, fixture alignment and the use of hand tools or power tools required for machining tasks. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
