Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on CNC professional who enjoys both programming and machining and has experience working with vertical and/or horizontal machining centers. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of CNC programming experience , hands-on Mastercam experience, and the ability to set up and operate CNC equipment. Responsibilities Program CNC machines using Mastercam Set up and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (VMC/HMC) Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T Select tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments Make program modifications and machining adjustments as needed Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues Maintain quality and production standards Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve machining processes Qualifications 2-4 years of CNC programming experience Mastercam experience required Experience setting up and operating VMCs and/or HMCs Strong understanding of CNC machining processes Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and workholding Experience with precision inspection equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We're Looking For We are open to candidates coming from a variety of CNC backgrounds, including: CNC Programmers CNC Machinists VMC Operators / Set-Up Machinists HMC Operators / Set-Up Machinists CNC Programmer/Machinists If you have Mastercam experience, 2-4 years of CNC programming experience, and hands-on experience with VMC or HMC equipment , we'd like to hear from you.
