Responsible and enthusiastic apprentices are welcome! An ideal candidate should be proficient in the following: 1. Basic training and knowledge of machining, machine tools, and safety. 2. Safety-conscious mindset. 3. Ability to adapt, communicate effectively, and problem-solve. 4. Creative and flexible in setting up machine tools and fixtures. 5. Ability to inspect machined parts. 6. Must have own tools. 7. Productive in both working and training environments. 8. Willingness to engage in work and training for career advancement. An aspiring candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of CNC equipment to produce semiconductor R D procedures and products. A progressing candidate will also have the opportunity to learn CAD/CAM programming with Mastercam, including: 1. Working with 2, 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC equipment, including complex 3D feature machining. 2. Accessing, applying, and working with various tools, metals, exotic materials, and engineered plastics. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Utilize CAM programming to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and CMMs. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and enhance production workflows.
