Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for milling and turning operations while ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and safety.
Shift:
6am - 2:30pm & 3:30pm-12amPay:
$22-40 DOE Key Responsibilities- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
- Set up and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify dimensional accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain program documentation and revision records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or similar).
- Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations.
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis machining is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of GD&T and machining best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
