$30•50/hour•depending on experience. Multiple openings available. About the Role A fast-scaling advanced manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its growing in-house machining team as it scales production capacity. This is a hands-on opportunity for a machinist who wants to grow into CNC programming as the shop evolves toward greater automation — the company is actively investing in developing machinists into programmers, not just hiring to fill a seat. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mills to produce complex, high-precision components Support both prototype and production machining as the team scales Collaborate closely with engineering to troubleshoot and improve part manufacturability Take on increasing programming responsibility over time — editing existing programs initially, with a path toward full CNC programming within the first 6-12 months Work with a variety of materials, including exotic alloys (Inconel) and metal 3D-printed parts, depending on experience level Requirements Hands-on 5-axis milling experience (required — this is non-negotiable) Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating outside a rigid, pre-defined process — this environment rewards critical thinking over rote procedure Genuine hunger to learn and grow into a more technical role, not just tenure in a machinist seat Nice to Have DMG Mori machine experience Siemens controls experience Mastercam or other CAM programming experience Background machining Inconel or other exotic alloys Experience with metal 3D-printed parts Background at a high-growth space/aerospace hardware company (e.g., SpaceX, Rocket Lab, Vast)
INDAD Pay:
$30.00•$50.00 per hour
