Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs that drive precision machining processes. Your expertise will ensure that complex metal components are manufactured efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge software, contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions that meet demanding industry specifications. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for precision machining and programming, we want to hear from you! Duties Develop and write CNC programs for various machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, 5-axis CNC machines, and electrical discharge machining equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure accurate manufacturing processes. Set up machining tools and fixtures on CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration using precision measurement instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Optimize machining parameters to improve efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards through lean manufacturing principles. Program complex geometries and multi-axis operations utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools like SolidWorks and CATIA for precise part fabrication. Conduct quality control inspections by measuring parts with precision measurement instruments to verify dimensional accuracy against specifications. Troubleshoot programming issues, machine malfunctions, or tooling problems promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Experience Proven experience in CNC programming for metal machining environments with a strong understanding of CNC lathe, milling machine, and 5-axis CNC machine operations. Proficiency in CAM programming software such as Mastercam or similar platforms; experience with CAD software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and mechanical blueprint analysis. Familiarity with GD&T standards and the use of precision measurement tools including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Experience working within lean manufacturing environments to streamline processes and eliminate waste. Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus; familiarity with geometry calculations for tool paths is essential. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by leveraging your expertise in CNC programming! We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives—empowering you to produce high-quality parts efficiently while advancing your skills with state-of-the-art technology.
