About the Role As a CNC Manufacturing Programmer, you will drive the efficiency and precision of our production floor by developing advanced machining strategies for complex components. You will be instrumental in transforming engineering designs into high-quality parts, ensuring our manufacturing processes remain competitive and reliable. Responsibilities Develop and refine complex CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers to optimize cycle times and tool longevity. Translate intricate blueprints and 3D models into precise toolpaths, utilizing advanced CAM software to ensure geometric accuracy. Design and implement robust work-holding and fixturing solutions to support high-precision manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with shop floor teams to validate first-article parts, performing necessary program adjustments to maintain strict quality standards. Standardize programming workflows and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure repeatability across all production runs. Provide technical leadership by troubleshooting machining discrepancies and mentoring operators on best practices for machine setup. Required Skills 3+ years of professional experience in CNC programming for mills and lathes. Advanced proficiency in CAM software and G-code/M-code programming. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting GD&T and complex engineering drawings. Hands-on experience operating and programming 4-axis and 5-axis CNC equipment. Preferred Skills Technical certification or degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering. Prior experience working within AS9100 or similar aerospace quality management systems. Strong background in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and process improvement.
