Step into a growing precision manufacturing environment in Bethel, CT where your CNC programming directly supports high-quality production and fast-paced defense work. In this CNC Programmer - Precision Manufacturing opportunity, you'll develop, test, and optimize multi-axis CNC programs for parts built to engineered drawings and tight tolerances. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer - Precision Manufacturing position include: 7 years of hands-on precision machine shop CNC programming experience Expertise in Mastercam, blueprint reading, and GD&T knowledge Proficiency with G-code/M-code for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds/speeds, and material properties (aluminum, steel, and more) Ability to analyze drawings to determine dimensions, tool selection, and programming approach Develop and modify CNC programs for production runs and different machines Troubleshoot production issues and make manual program adjustments as necessary Create clear set up sheets, tool lists, and programming documentation; collaborate with setup technicians and quality inspectors
Salary:
$34hr-$49hr, Competitive, commensurate with experience; night shift differential handled case by case.
