EXPERIENCED CNC PROGRAMMER - CUSTOM CABINETRY & MILLWORK
Location:
Bridgeport, CT GS Woodworking is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support our growing custom cabinetry and architectural millwork operation. This position will be responsible for CNC programming, process optimization, and supporting the implementation of our new CNC production department. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience Experience in custom cabinetry, millwork, or woodworking manufacturing Advanced proficiency in Mozaik (Required) Advanced proficiency in VCarve (Required) Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings Strong knowledge of CNC routers, tooling, machine setup, nesting, feeds, and speeds Experience troubleshooting CNC programming and machining issues Fluent English required Fluent Portuguese or Spanish required Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Responsibilities Program CNC routers for custom cabinetry and millwork projects Create and optimize machining files using Mozaik and VCarve Prepare nesting layouts and machining strategies Review shop drawings and production documentation Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Production teams Support process improvements and production efficiency Assist with training and supporting team members on CNC-related processes Important This is not an entry-level position. We are only seeking experienced CNC Programmers with proven hands-on experience using both Mozaik and VCarve in a cabinetry or millwork environment. Candidates who do not meet the software and language requirements will not be considered.
