Job Overview We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC machines—including lathes and milling & turning machines—to produce precision aerospace components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure parts meet stringent quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Set up and operate CNC machining centers such as CNC lathes and milling & turning machines, primarily using Fanuc controls. Develop and modify CNC programs utilizing CAM programming software to optimize machining processes. Interpret detailed blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise manufacturing. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Select appropriate tooling and tooling setups for various machining tasks, including the use of hand tools and power tools. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by maintaining efficient workflows and reducing waste.
Pay:
$24.00 - $36.00 per hour
