Role:

A minimum of five years of professional background in CNC milling and machine setup. A decade or more of total CNC machining expertise is considered an asset. Proven proficiency in developing CNC programs. Demonstrated technical skill using Mastercam software. Practical knowledge of 3+2 machining techniques on 5-axis equipment to ensure high-quality production output. Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and GD&T, choose appropriate tooling, and conduct accurate precision measurements. Familiarity with Haas 5-axis platforms, specifically the UMC series, is highly desirable. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity within a machine shop is preferred.

Compensation and Perks:

Core Duties:

Manage the complete setup, programming, and operation of CNC vertical and 5-axis mills, utilizing 3+2 machining methods. Oversee tooling selection, workholding, offset configuration, probing, and initial part inspections to maintain consistent production quality. Serve as a technical mentor to the team by assisting fellow machinists and collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Production departments to optimize manufacturing workflows.
