CNC Swiss Programmer / Set-Up / -

Experienced Industry :

Aerospace, Precision CNC Machining; Computer Programming; Mechanical Engineering; Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities :

Program and setup Swiss type CNC machines with little to no supervision Responsibilities include:

• interpreting drawings/blueprints
• executing process control plans
• producing fixtures
• selecting tooling, speeds and feeds appropriate to a part's dimensional tolerances and raw material
• setting-up machines with tooling
• troubleshooting programs
• producing a First Piece
• selecting appropriate inspection tools and training operators on proper loading, production, and inspection of parts. operate machines
• other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

Experience Prerequisites :

Four years related Aerospace industry experience. Candidates with experience in an AS9100 environment are highly preferred. Experience with Fanuc controlled Swiss Style CNC Turning Centers is a plus.

Skills :

Ability to complete machining operation from set-up to finish (operate, inspect, and troubleshoot); knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; advanced math knowledge. Candidates may be required to demonstrate skills.
