Hours Monday-Friday:

7:00 AM - 6:00 PM 30-minute unpaid lunch Saturday work is required approximately 50% of the time , based on production requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to work Saturdays as part of the normal schedule.

Monday-Friday extended hours, with Saturday work approximately every other week.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. We manufacture industrial sprockets, hubs, custom machine components, and special machine parts for a variety of industrial applications. This is a position for a skilled machinist who understands the entire machining process —from reading the print and determining the best machining approach, to setting up the machine, selecting tooling, programming, machining, inspecting, and delivering a quality finished part. This is not an entry-level CNC operator position . We are looking for someone with the experience and confidence to look at a print and figure out how to make the part correctly, efficiently, and safely . A minimum of 5 years of CNC machining/programming experience is required. What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machine-shop equipment Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints Determine machining processes and appropriate workholding Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters Accurately indicate and fixture parts Machine sprockets, hubs, shafts, flanges, and custom machine components Work with both production and custom/one-off parts Inspect parts during and after machining Use precision measuring equipment including: Calipers Micrometers Dial indicators Bore gauges Other precision inspection equipment Troubleshoot dimensional, tooling, setup, and machining problems Make program and setup adjustments when necessary Accurately measure, mark, identify, and allocate completed parts to jobs Maintain accurate job and production information Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safe Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, quality, and setup times Work effectively to meet production deadlines CNC Programming Programming experience with software such as: Mastercam SheetCAM BobCAD/CAM Similar CAD/CAM software The ability to read and understand G-code and make program adjustments at the machine is highly desirable. Equipment Experience Experience with the following is preferred: CNC Vertical Mills CNC Lathes Radial Drills Conventional machine tools CNC high-definition plasma/torch tables Forklift experience is helpful but not required. The Type of Machinist We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can work independently and take ownership of their work. The right candidate should be able to: Read the print → determine the process → select tooling → set up the machine → program the job → machine the part → inspect it → troubleshoot problems → produce a quality finished component. Experience machining sprockets, hubs, shafts, bearings, flanges, and other industrial components is a strong advantage. Experience with custom and low-volume work is also highly valued.
