Job Description

We are committed to precision, innovation, and delivering exceptional products to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / 3 -5-Axis Programmer to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who is confident programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC mills and routers while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate 3- 5-axis CNC mills and routers. Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs both at the machine and offline. Utilize CAM software such as Mastercam, Cimatron, or similar to improve machining processes, cycle times, and part quality. Design, build, and validate fixtures for new and existing machining operations. Create and modify G-code programs as needed. Select appropriate tooling, workholding, and machining strategies for a variety of parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, machining sequences, and setup requirements. Verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other inspection equipment. Build cutting tools with minimal runout. Establish work offsets using edge finders, dial indicators, and tooling balls for 5-axis setups. Troubleshoot machining and manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor machine performance to identify tool wear or equipment malfunctions. Safely operate cranes and other material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized work area to support quality standards and minimize Foreign Object Debris (FOD). Adapt to changing production priorities to meet customer schedules and delivery deadlines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members while contributing to a collaborative work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming and machining experience , preferably with 5-axis equipment. Strong proficiency in G-code programming. Experience with Mastercam, Cimatron, or comparable CAM software preferred. Thorough understanding of CNC machining processes, fixturing, tooling, and setup techniques. Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance. Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Personal tooling is a plus.
