Summary:
Experienced CNC Programmer with strong Mastercam 2026 experience to support precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for milling and turning centers while collaborating closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled programmer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality components.
Responsibilities:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam 2026 . Develop toolpaths for multi-axis mills, lathes, and machining centers. Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications. Select cutting tools, fixtures, work-holding methods, and machining strategies. Perform program prove-outs and troubleshoot machining issues on the shop floor. Reduce cycle times and improve manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate with machinists and quality personnel to ensure product conformance. Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and tooling information. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes and productivity. Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
Skills :
Required 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Mastercam 2026 . Experience programming CNC milling and/or turning equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings. Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining practices. Experience troubleshooting and optimizing CNC programs. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Experience with 4-axis and 5-axis machining. Knowledge of CAD software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360. Experience with Mazak, Okuma, Bridgeport, Haas, Mori Seiki, Makino, or similar CNC equipment. Experience with Mazatrol, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar controls Tooling and fixture design experience. Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
Pay:
$60.00 per hour
