:$25-$30/hour Position Overview Herman Mold + Tooling is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / CNC Machinist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment while maintaining high-quality standards and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the part. Must be able to edit and write CNC programs. Selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures on the machine to ensure accuracy, and adjusting as necessary. Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth or angle of cut, and other factors which affect the machining process Inspecting the finished parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Performing routine maintenance on the CNC machines including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process such as tool wear or machine malfunctions. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Monitor job progress against job hours via project sheets and email.
